Why Jenny and Mark started happy overall
Jenny is a contemplative creative. Mark is a fearless entrepreneur. When Mark kept hearing people rave to Jenny about her beloved old pair of cotton overalls, he said “Let’s build a brand, baby!”
So we did.
Jenny's shaping the heart of Happy Overall around joyful expression and connection. Mark's all about building a smarter apparel model that can reach beyond our beautiful little circle of family and friends.
Happy Overall is part of the love-life we're making together, one that's intentionally creative and collaborative, because that's when we most feel alive in and in love.

Inspired by Jenny's 1991 original, each pair is an expression of everyday joy, made in the USA for comfort and play, for all bodies.
We focus on fewer, better garments made with natural materials built to last. Instead of chasing fast trends, we produce carefully in smaller runs.
Why it's called a
"Happy"
“It’s just a little happy.” That's what the women in Jenny's family said when they showed up with a little gift. Not for birthdays or holidays, nothing fancy, just a small act of care. A very Southern thing.
These overalls are named for that feeling. A Happy is meant to feel comfortable, lived-in, and easy, something you reach for because it makes you feel like yourself, imperfect, soft and joyful.
A Happy is something you wear (and give!), just because.
